These are always the first to go at any function. Friends have said they are the best they have ever had because “you get chocolate in every bite” and “they are the perfect combination of sweet and salty”. Eat them anyway you like: with a glass of cold milk, warmed slightly so the chocolate is oozing, or with ice cream in between two of them, a summer favorite.ription about this item
These cookies take regular chocolate chip cookies to a whole new level! They have a gooey center filled with chocolatey hazelnut spread (think "Nutella Inside"). They are one of the most requested cookies I make.
The Chocolate Chip Cookie’s other half, except with smooth, white chocolate chips instead of traditional semi-sweet chocolate chips. You don’t know what you are missing until you taste one.
These are for true chocolate lovers and are so rich you might only be able to eat one. Children love them warmed slightly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They are packed with multiple kinds of chocolate and a hint of freshly ground espresso which brings out the deep flavor of the cocoa.
Chewy oatmeal cookies with just the right amount of raisins, and a hint of cinnamon, are a favorite. They are perfect with a hot cup of coffee or tea once the cold weather settles in. My sister loves these!
Whether you grew up eating the push-pops as a child or just love the flavor of orange and vanilla together, you are going to love these treats. The secret is freshly grated orange peel mixed right into the dough
This recipe made its way to the US from Italy and no one other than Christine’s mom knows how to get them right. She has tried many times over the years to teach those who have asked, but no one else can get them as light and fluffy because you “add enough flour until the dough feels right”. How’s that for “baking is a science”? Luckily, at Sweet Treats by Christine, we have learned all the secrets. The lemon flavor is actually in the icing which pairs well with the freshness of the cookie.
Growing up, we could never get enough of my cousin's crumb-topped coffee cake and always requested it for family events. There were mounds of crumbs (but never one left in the plate) and the cake was always moist. So I finally asked her for the recipe! I've only tweaked it slightly and add fresh blueberries or a hint of raspberry spread in between the crumb and the cake. Individual cakes are perfect for breakfast, while 9" cakes are a great choice for larger gatherings.
